Lanercost Priory, near Brampton in Cumbria, one of my favourite places: An Augustinian foundation dating from about 1170, it was inetermittently subject to the predations of invading Scots, especially around the time of Edward I, and was never financially viable. It was suppressed in 1538 when it was bought by the Dacre family and the west range convertered into a home.

The masonry in the presbytery, dating from about 1220, is magnificent, lacking only a roof to restore it to its original glory; on a more human scale than the mega Cistercian monasteries, it is one of the few places where it is possible to get a real feel for a 13th century priory.

I have been playing with the HDR options in Lightroom and exploring Photomatix so there is some of duplication
