A compilation of images from 2 visits to York Minster, the first in 2018 during a major refurbishment of the organ, the seond in Sptember 2025. The first record of a church in York dates to 627AD although there is a record of a Bishop of York at a synod in Arles in 315AD. The current minster was built between 1220AD and 1427, showing Early English othic north and south transepts, a Decorated Gothic nave and chapter house, and a Perpendicular Gothic eastern arm and central tower.
