Via a brief stop at Cais de Folgosa to allow a shore excursion to Lamego, home to the Shrine of Nossa Senhora dos Remedos (Our lady of Renedies) and then the return to Porto. Lamego has a long history, finally secrured from the Moors in 1057 by Fernando Magno. Overlooking the city is the Shrine, built in 1791, with superb views and a 680 step double staircase to the city below.
