Moaquera is a tiny islet, little more than a sandbank, a long, narrow sand spit, with a huge population of sea lions. Additional occupants include Sally Lightfoot Crabs and lava lizards, plus a wonderful variety of birdlife flying over. It is a convenient distance from Baltra for a final landing before heading to the airport and the journey home.
