Slides from a wonderful 3 week tour in 1997 of Western Canada, The Yukon and Alaska, starting in Seattle, ending in Anchorage. Already in 1997 the glaciers fed from the Columbia Icefield had retreated sereral hundred metres from their 1970 end points. I should not be surprised if some of them were barely visible now.
