Welcome to my photos.

A selection of photos from my exploration of the truly magnificent Abbeys, Cathedrals and Churches around Yorkshire.  I find it so sad that so little is taught in schools these days about how the Cistercians and Benedictines made Yorkshire what it is today, all on the back of the wool trade.  The immesnce wealth they generated in the process lead to corruption, decay and eventual destruction but that should not diminish the admiration of their achievements.
