The beginning of march sees the culmination of the great migration of wildebeest and zebra from the Maasai Mara in Kenya to the southern plains of the Serengeti National Park and the Ngorngoro Conservation Area in Tanzania. The vast herds calf on the plains of Tanzania and are followed by feasting predators, lions, leopards, cheetah, jackals, hyenas.
